Work Related Issues
Working can provide enormous satisfaction and fulfillment however it can also cause much unhappiness, stress and de-motivation. Workplace relationships can bring challenges, as can promotions re-structuring and workload for example.
Most of us spend more time at work than we do at home with our family and friends. Taking up so much of our time we can be preoccupied by work, find sense in who we are and attach our identity, to our job role. Workplace bullying can eat away at our confidence and self–esteem and this can lead to further issues in other parts of our lives.
For many reasons we do not always tackle workplace issues, hoping they will resolve. Workplace support may not be a choice you want to make. It may not be available or feel appropriate. Counselling in a private safe space with someone who is totally independent of your workplace may be a positive step to resolving and managing workplace issues.
