Bereavement
Bereavement, grief and loss is something we all experience at some time or another. Death is part of life. Knowing we may loose the people we love most does not make coping after a death any easier. Grieving is a healthy and natural process that can be experienced without the support of a counsellor or therapist however for some people, grief is a frightening and overwhelming state. Seeking the support of a counsellor can provide a way to cope with, and navigate through this distressing and confusing experience.

I can offer bereavement counselling at any time that feels helpful for you, immediately after a death or many years later. Some grief reactions can be delayed or complicated by the relationship you had with the person who has died. These circumstances can add to the confusion and inability to manage some of the feelings. If you want to find out if counselling could help please get in touch.
