(Emotional, Physical, Sexual)
Abuse can take many forms, can be obvious or subtle, long or short term but regardless of the type or length of time involved, abuse has affects. These can range from a small change in behaviour to minimise the risk of conflict to more noticeable reactions, such as withdrawal and depression. Being the victim of any form of abuse can affect self-esteem, confidence, mood and any number of other thoughts and feelings. It can be hard to see a way out leaving feelings of being trapped and isolated.
If you recognise yourself as a victim of any form of abuse I will offer a safe, non judgmental, confidential and caring therapeutic relationship to support your recovery.
